The History of Apple Computer, Inc.
Most everyone has heard of the company Apple. They were formerly known as Apple Computer Incorporation, but after diving into other markets, the company dropped the Computer from their name to simply become Apple Incorporated. Apple Computer first came to be a company in 1976 when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak when they released the Apple I, and was located in Cupertino, California. The two founders were always outcasts when they were in school and perhaps due to this isolation they dropped out of the colleges that they were attending in order to develop products from their home. As most people have heard, Apple really started in the basement or garage, depending on who the person talks to rather than at some expensive business. Which could be the reason that the computers were such a success, they were created by guys that knew what they wanted and passed this on to the rest of the world.
Until the nineties, the company produced some of the best personal computers that could be found on the market, including the Apple brand, Macintosh and Power Mac computers. However, they saw a downfall in their sales after nineties. In 2001, the company introduced to the iPod, which put the company back on the market and lead to the Apple Incorporated that people know today.
The first order that the two built is somewhat of an amazing feat. After being introduced to one another they made a working model of their computer and took it to a nearby computer store. The owner there placed an order for fifty of these machines. However, with the catch that they had to come fully assembled and ready to use when they were delivered. They were able to get the parts for the computer from an electronic store and used credit to do this, promising to pay what they had received after they received payment for the computer. For the next month they worked day and night in building these computers and were able to get them to the store in which they received around five hundred dollars for each completed computer. The computer was a hit with the consumer world as well as the industrial world.
The company went through many phases in which they improved upon technology that they had already produced making sure that they stayed on top when it came to meeting the demands of consumers. Including the production of the iMac which helped to propel the company to new heights. Then, as the company grew and started to branch into other electronic devices, they saw the brand rising even more in the public eye. Now, Apple is a brand that most people automatically know all over the world. They are known for their innovative technology that is usually the first of its kind on the market and something that all people love to own and make their lives a bit easier with the advancements that they give people. Although if you're looking for a new home entertainment device on a budget, Apple devices could turn out a bit too expensive.
